On Wednesday the 22 October I went on an art trip with my art GCSE/A-level class to all the galleries holding the Liverpool Biennial 2014. The which is the 8th Biennial Exhibition, A Needle Walks into a Haystack, is curated by Mai Abu ElDahab and Anthony Huberman. I went to “The Old Blind School” “Bluecoat” “World Museum” and the “Walker” other places included “FACT” “Tate Liverpool” and “St. Andrews Gardens”
My favourite venue has to be the old blind school as the whole interior was old and had a grunge feel to it, the walls were peeling the was missing door frames and it was just a really unusual atmosphere for a gallery. I felt like it and really contrasted with some of the work. I had such a good day with my friends but it also opened my eye to new and inspiring artists -to me anyway.
